Privacy
The short version: we keep what we need to run your account, nothing more. No ads, no tracking, and we never sell anything about you.

Reading the site
You can read everything on newBweb without an account. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Like any website, our servers keep short-lived technical logs (such as the address a request came from) to keep the site running and secure.
Your account
If you join, we keep:
- your email address, to sign you in and to reach you about your account;
- the name you choose to show;
- your password, if you add one. It's stored by our sign-in service in a form nobody can read back, us included;
- your authenticator app's setup, if you turn it on;
- your team, if you join one, and your role in it.
You can change your name, password and sign-in settings on your account page, and sign out of every device from there.
Emails
We only send what your account needs: sign-in links and codes, team invites, and notices about your account. No newsletters or marketing. If an email to you bounces, or you mark it as spam, we note it and stop sending to that address.
Cookies and your browser
We set cookies only to keep you signed in. They're never used to follow you across other sites. Your browser also remembers a few choices you make here, such as light or dark mode and how lists are laid out. Those stay on your device.
YouTube
Our shows are on YouTube, and this site uses YouTube API Services to show information about our own channel's videos, such as their titles, lengths and when they go live. That information comes from our channel, not from you: the site never asks for or sees your YouTube account. What we keep from YouTube is refreshed daily and kept no longer than 30 days.
Video thumbnails on this site are images from YouTube's servers, and our videos play on YouTube or in YouTube's own player, which loads only when you press play. YouTube's and Google's own policies apply to what you do there:
Only newBweb's own team connects a YouTube channel to the site. Anyone who has connected one can remove that access at any time in Google's security settings.
Who handles it
The site runs on Amazon Web Services, which hosts it, stores accounts and sends our emails. They handle that data only for us. We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Removing your data
Your account stays until you ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@newbweb.com from the address you sign in with, and we'll delete your account and what it holds. Questions about this page go to the same address.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters to what we do with your account, we'll email you before it applies.
